We were contracted to supply, lay and commission the complete service infrastructure on this large air base for the Ministry of Defence.
Planning and material procurement were paramount on such a large project. Much of the pipework ducting and cable was in the same trench. The Gas and Water mains were polyethylene and ranged in diameter from 25mm to 400mm.
Building hand over dates were crucial and utilities were consistently delivered ahead of programme.
We pulled and laid over 10 km of cable, ranging from small communication cable to large HV and our bricklayers constructed all the large drawpits.
