Moto Hospitality Ltd, the UK’s leading motorway services operator, appointed our team as a key delivery partner for the construction of their new flagship service station at Sawtry, strategically located along the busy A1(M). The development aims to serve thousands of motorists daily, offering essential rest and refueling facilities.

Our mission was to deliver critical groundwork and civil engineering packages, on time and to the highest standard, to support Moto’s broader vision of creating a safe, accessible, and sustainable service area.

Our Contribution

Working collaboratively with the main contractor and stakeholders, we delivered a package of works that formed the foundation—literally and figuratively—of the site’s long-term success. Our scope included:

1. Deep Drainage Infrastructure (Up to 900mm Diameter)

– Installed deep drainage systems to with pipes up to 900mm diameter with full compliance to design specifications.
– Delivered precision pipe laying, manhole construction, and connection to main outfalls.
– Undertook full system testing, ensuring long-term performance and flood resilience.

2. Kerb Installation – Safety and Structure

– Installed pre-cast concrete kerbs to high tolerances for alignment and finish.
